I’m a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Design Innovation, Glasgow School of Art. My work spans the fields of design, policy and management, and I am interested in the development of agile and interdisciplinary research approaches that engage public, private, third sector and academia in solving real-world problems.

I am a collaborative researcher and my research interests include design research methods and methodology, agile business models in the creative industries, the role of design in procurement and commissioning, and managing creativity and innovation. Prior to joining Glasgow School of Art, I was a Lecturer in Design Management at ImaginationLancaster, a design research lab at Lancaster University.

I also led the marketing and research workstream for Glasgow-based cross-disciplinary design consultancy Graven Images, working with clients including BBC Scotland, Missoni, Harris Tweed Hebrides, A+DS and Volkswagen AG.
